Who is Ruth Fagerstrom?
This cookbook is almost fifty years old, so it makes sense that so many of the people can’t be tracked down online. However, this quote–presumably–introduced the book, so you would assume it would be easy to track down the author.
When the apron she does don,
It’s how she cooks that spurs them on!
So far the closest I’ve gotten is an obituary from earlier this year from a journalist with a similar name who seems to have published a few books in her time. She lived to be 101 and while her life ended in the memory care unit, one can’t help but wonder how amazing her life was. Could it be the same Ruth Fagerstrom?
